Starport Castle Dreamstation

Starport Castle Dreamstation was a zone meant for people who are interested in geek culture and other more niche subjects. It was created when five zones (Scifi Starport, Gamerz Only, The Comic Shop, The Dream Castle and Cybercog Station) were merged into one by Merchantsoft to avoid turning off mainstream users with too many "geeky" zones.

This merger upset many Hypnospace users, and those forced into the new zone banded together, forming the Sovereign Alliance of Imagination. They then created the Freelands, their own zone, using exploits and illegal software to circumvent attempts by Merchantsoft to strangle their bandwidth.

The page comes with a notice from Adrian Merchant, CEO of Merchantsoft.

• The Kickstarter page for Hypnospace Outlaw reveals that the zone may have originally been called Dragonroost Cogland Spaceport.^[1]
• This zone can be accessed before it's unlocked via the breadcrumbs on Roddy Wall's page, linked to from Merchantsoft's page. However, there is not much reason to do so, as the Freelands cannot be accessed on November 5th without the search function.
